How many of you use Spotify? I do, and I think it’s a great concept. You can stream an ever increasing amount of songs, an unlimited amount of times, for free. And the selection is good, like really good. It has almost any band you can think of, and then some. Sure you won’t get the Beatles, Led Zeppelin or Metallica, but at this point who really cares. It’s all about discovering great new music to listen to. Don’t get me wrong though, there are still a large number of classics on there, and I’m not talking in a “Netflix” sort of way. It’s a large amount of music, new and old, that you want to listen to for the first time and again.

What’s also great is that Jimmy NaNa is on Spotify. Just search Jimmy NaNa or any of my song and album titles and you can listen to all of my music as much as you want for free! Don’t worry about feeling guilty though, I get paid for every play, haha.

Probably the coolest feature of Spotify however is that you can share music you like with your friends. If you like a song or album and you think a fellow Spotify user would like it as well, you can just drag the music to their name and send it to their inbox. They will be able to play it right from there. It’s a great way to find new music through your friends. In my opinion it’s way better than sites like Pandora, even though Spotify has preference based radio stations as well.
